Above pictures are for example purposes only. The blanks you receive will
be square like all other pen blanks.
First a note in regards to dyed and stabilized pen blanks!
The stabilized pen blanks we offer have been treated using a high pressure
system that forces liquid acrylic resins throughout the entire blank. The
blanks are then heat cured and dried during the final finishing process.
A few of the many advantages using stabilized wood include:
Resists cracking, checking, swelling, shrinking, color change & fading.
Impervious to water, oils and weather.
Machines beautifully, sands without raising the grain of the wood, and
polishes to a high luster. A few of the disadvantages using stabilized wood include:
Highly figured or burled woods may warp slightly during the stabilization
process.
Due to the differences between each piece of wood there is no way to
guarantee that any two dyed and stabilized blanks will ever have the same
color.
All blanks are 3/4"x3/4"x5 1/4" long.
